Police say the driver had to be woken up

Reports of a dine-and-dash in Midland resulted in impaired driving charges.

Southern Georgian Bay OPP got a call around 9:30 Wednesday night from a restaurant employee who reported a customer fled the establishment without settling the bill. The employee noted the dine-and-dasher had been drinking prior to their departure in a vehicle.
