Barrie police believe several people waiting at a bus stop may be able to provide information to help with the investigation into a 50-year-old woman who was found with serious injuries in the backyard of a home on Henry Street on June 5, just before 6 p.m.
In a post to X, police said they wanted to speak to a few people, including an individual with a walker, who were waiting for a bus at Anne Street and Donald Street on June 4 at about 9:30 p.m.
Barrie police communications coordinator Peter Leon told Barrie 360 the woman remains in a trauma centre.

Leon says the woman did not live at the home where she was located, but does live in the area.
"We've got some information that she may have sustained the injuries elsewhere and simply collapsed in the backyard," he added.
Leon says there is nothing believed at this time to be criminal in nature.
