It is critical for Barrie residence to limit the number of people they come in contact with to help stop the spread of COVID-19 and Major Jeff Lehman is calling to remind residence of some key social distancing behaviors.
Thank you @Mayor_Jeff for your call tonight. We are doing everything we can at our home to #StayHomeSaveLives We would also like to thank all of the essential workers for their dedication and hard work! 💜— Jacquie (@JacquieRaycraft) March 26, 2020
Public health experts recommend keeping two meters away from anyone (other than those you live with), avoiding crowded places, canceling play dates and sleepovers, avoiding contact with high-risk people (elderly and those in poor health), staying home, and only going out for essentials.
Keep an ear out for your call from the mayor but if you don’t have a landline you can also get all the details here.
