Georgian College Hairstyling Students Hosting 2nd Annual 'Cut The Crap!' Cut-A-Thon

In Support Of The Canadian Mental Health Association

Georgian College's Hairstyling department is putting their skills to use to support a great cause.

The students and faculty are hosting their second annual 'Cut the Crap!' cut-a-thon. If you're interested in a new "do", stop by the Georgian Hair Studio (A109) at the Barrie campus on Tuesday, April 16th. Students are offering discounted services to help raise awareness and funds for people struggling with addiction and mental health issues.

Under supervision of the faculty, students will be offering haircuts for $15 or a wash and blow dry for $10. The event is being held to raise awareness for mental health and all the funds raised will go toward the Canadian Mental Health Association – Simcoe County.
