Disney details launch of 'Disney Plus' streaming service

The service will launch on November 12th

The Walt Disney Company has detailed their forthcoming Disney Plus streaming service, revealing that it is set to launch in Canada in mid-November.

Canadian residents will pay a low cost of $8.99 per month or $89.99 per year to gain access to its shows and films from Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, National Geographic, and more. The recently released teaser from Disney shows that films and television series like MoanaGuardians of the GalaxyPhinneas and Ferb, and more will be available upon its launch.

The service will be launched globally on November 12th, beginning with the U.S., Canada, and the Netherlands, followed by Australia and New Zealand on November 19th.

Disney Plus will be available on almost all major mobile and connected television devices upon its launch.
