Making it a little more fun for the little ones.

While it isn't a massive overhaul (after all, don't fix what isn't broken), the new update will give a slight change to how Netflix looks while using a Kids' profile.

While it isn't a massive overhaul (after all, don't fix what isn't broken), the new update will give a slight change to how Netflix looks while using a Kids' profile.

A new row of most-watched content will now appear at the top of the page and will feature specific characters from that show above their title. “We wanted to represent a title in the way that kids most recognize it — through the characters. This is going to be like a kid walking into their own room, where they know where every Lego piece is,” said Michelle Parsons, product manager for kids and family at Netflix, in an interview with Variety.

Kids will need to watch a show at least once for it to show up in the new section but the update should be live on most devices now, with mobile and tablet updates coming soon.
