The Salvation Army Barrie Bayside Mission Centre is participating in the "Canada Helps Great Canadian Challenge" for the month of June and this means that your donation might stretch even further by helping them win an additional $20,000!
The Barrie Bayside Mission Centre is dedicated to serving the community where they can provide opportunity and a foundation where both men and families can gain a source of strength and direction to relaunch their lives to fulfill their hopes. The BBMC currently operates a 28-bed shelter for men with an additional 10 transitional housing units program, an emergency family shelter program, a community meal program, serving free lunch and suppers seven days a week, and a family services program.

For the month of June, all donations made through the Canada Helps website will also qualify the BBMC to a ballot that might win them an additional $20,000 donation. Their goal is to raise $10,000 and all proceeds will go to support their Community Meals Program, where every $5 helps provide a meal for Barrie residence who are experiencing food insecurity.
To help the BBMC reach their goal and maybe even win that extra money, head over to the Canada Helps website and donate now!
