Springwater Township resident arrested for impaired, facing drug charges
FILE - OPP detachment sign.

A traffic stop in Wasaga Beach led to the seizure of drugs and a Springwater Township woman facing charges.

Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) say a vehicle travelling on Mosley Street was pulled over around 12:30 Sunday afternoon, and the officer entered into an impaired driving investigation.

"During the interaction, grounds were formed that the driver's ability to operate a motor vehicle was impaired by dugs and she was subsequently arrested," police said in a news release.

As a result of the arrest, police said they seized a quantity of crack cocaine, cash, and items consistent with drug trafficking.
