Outset Media has partnered with Walmart Canada to launch a brand new version of Monopoly with a local twist called Barrie-Opoly
If you remember nights of buying hotels, getting out of jail for free, and the rain of money and game pieces when someone inevitably flips the table, you're probably a fan of the classic board game Monopoly. Barrie-Opoly lets you make your way around a more familiar board with spaces named after some of Barrie's most well-known landmarks like Sadlon Arena, Georgian Theatre, Allandale Golf Course, and more.
You'll be able to get your hands on Barrie-Opoly on June 19 with Walmart planning on restocking regularly. Board games have seen quite a resurgence in the past few months, for obvious reasons, so why not build an empire worth thousands (of fake dollars) and become the biggest business mogul Barrie has ever seen?
