
A Tay Township woman is facing multiple charges after OPP seized drugs, cars, and cash during a search warrant in Waverly.
Police officials say as part of an ongoing investigation, OPP from Southern Georgian Bay and Orillia detachments executed a search warrant at a residence in Waverly around 11 a.m. on Friday.
"[Officers] seized a considerable quantity of drug-like substances believed to be Cocaine, Crack Cocaine, Codeine pills, over $28,000 Canadian currency, 2024 Jeep Wrangler, 2018 Mercedes C300, a conducted energy weapon (CEW) along with cell phones and other related drug paraphernalia," Media Officer David Hobson wrote in a release.


"Also seized was approximately $25,000 in high-end purses, bags, clothing, and jewelry alleged to have been obtained by the proceeds of crime."
Police charged a 40-year-old with:
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5,000 - in Canada (three counts)
- Knowledge of Unauthorized Possession of Weapon
- Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of Trafficking - Cocaine
- Trafficking in Schedule I substance- Cocaine
- Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of Trafficking-Opioid (other than heroin)
She was released from custody to appear in court in May.
