
Guns were seized and 21 charges were laid by provincial police during a search warrant in Alliston at the end of May.
Nottawasaga OPP say the search on Thursday, May 30, was connected to a controlled drugs and substances investigation.
Street crime units from Caledon, Kawartha Lakes, and Haliburton assisted as well.
A 33-year-old Alliston man was charged with:
- Possession of Firearm or Ammo contrary to Prohibition order - X8
 - Breach of Firearms Storage Regulations - X4
 - Unauthorized Possession of a prohibited/restricted firearm - X3
 - Knowledge of Unauthorized Possession of firearm - X4
 - Possession of Prohibited device/ammo - X2
 
He was held pending a bail hearing.
OPP seized the following items:
- AR15 DPMS Panther Arms Assault Rifle
 - Smith and Wesson M&P 9mm handgun
 - EI Patron 157 Mag Revolver
 - Palace 12-gauge Shotgun.
 - Winchester Cooey 12-gauge shotgun
 - Janssen Sons and Co Shotgun X's 2
 - Prohibited Device (magazines)
 - 2 Airsoft Rifles
 - Assorted ammunition
