The mayor of flavourtown will be taking on one of the funniest people on earth to see who can make the best plate of nachos and it's helping raise money for out of work restaurant employees.
The food industry has been one of the hardest hit by the Covid-19 pandemic which is why Guy Fieri has teamed up with the National Restaurant Association to help raise money for the foundation's Restaurant Employee Relief Fund. According to the foundation, he has already helped raise over $20 million in under two months.
As an added bonus, sitting on the judging panel will be basketball legend Shaquille O'Neal and wonderful human being and actor, Terry Crews. "The Nacho Average Showdown" will take place on May 15th at 5:00 PM on the Food Networks Facebook page.
