A collision involving a pedestrian and a vehicle has led to charges - including attempt to commit murder - for a Midland man, OPP say.
Southern Georgian Bay OPP attended to a report on Monday at 3:40 a.m. about the incident on Wellington Street in Midland.
"The involved vehicle was no longer on scene upon police arrival, and the pedestrian was transported to a Toronto-area hospital with serious injuries," OPP stated in a release.

They say on Tuesday, two people were arrested and charged.
A 39-year-old Midland man faces the following:
- Attempt to commit murder, section 239(1)(b) - two counts
- Dangerous operation causing bodily harm, section 320.13(2)
- Fail to stop at accident resulting in bodily harm, section 320.16(2)
While a 25-year-old Midland woman was charged with:
- Accessory after the fact to commit indictable offence, section 463(a) - two counts
Both were held for a bail hearing and were scheduled to appear in Barrie court today.
"The identity of the victim will be withheld, and no further details will be released at this time," OPP added.
