More free games you can play in your browser

on almost any low-end PC
Free Browser Games
Have you just finished binging a series on Netflix and are looking for something else to do besides scroll through an endless list for yet another show to start? Luckily for you, there is a bunch of games you can play right from your browser and some of them are deep enough to sink a lot of time into (and I do mean a lot).

Have you just finished binging a series on Netflix and are looking for something else to do besides scroll through an endless list for yet another show to start? Luckily for you, there is a bunch of games you can play right from your browser and some of them are deep enough to sink a lot of time into (and I do mean a lot).

Slither

Let's start things off with something simple. Everyone knows the old game called Snake right? Guide a snake across the screen, eating pellets and trying to get as big as possible while trying to avoid hitting yourself. Slither is an updated version of this game you can play from your browser and it's multiplayer! Try to get the highest score and avoid hitting other snakes.

Doom

With the released Doom Eternal making waves and getting universal praise, you might not know the original 1993 classic is available in its entirety from your browser. Doom is a first-person shooter (and really kickstarted the popularity of the genre) where you play as a super-soldier who must invade hell and destroy demons. Simple controls and multiple difficulties make this a fun way to jump into gaming.

Shell Shockers

If you're a little more competent with a mouse and keyboard, Shell Shockers is a browser-based first-person shooter where you shoot eggs, throw eggs, pick-up eggs, and are, in fact, an egg. It can be a little tricky if you're not used to moving and shooting at the same time but most players online are just as bad as you are so it's fun!

GeoGuessr

GeoGuessr is a unique browser game that plops you down in a random place on Earth and you have to try and guess where you are by putting a pin on a map. The game used google street view so you can explore the area looking for landmarks, signs, and whatever else might help you identify where you are. The closer your guess is to the actual location, the more points you get!

Linerider

The game that occupied so many high school students during a boring lecture is still available online. Linerider is a simple track building game where you use lines to build the craziest course for the main character Bosh to navigate. Blue lines are normal, red lines add speed, and green lines are just for show. It's addicting and fun!

Runescape

Last up is one that is vastly more complicated than the others but is one of the deepest free experiences you can get. Runescape is a Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing game that lets you fight monsters, learn skills, and explore a huge open world. You can play the old school version right from your browser and there is also an updated downloadable version and both are completely free. If you have time to learn, Runescape can be a really fun time dump.
