Over $1,500 In Baby Monitors Stolen Over Three Trips to Toys R Us

Alarm Tripped On Third Attempt

Third time’s a charm as Barrie Police search for a man accused of swiping baby monitors.

Investigators say the bad guy successfully made off with the stolen merchandise on two separate visits to a south end toy store on May 1st, but tripped off the security alarm on the third attempt.

A review of the Park Place Toys R Us security footage revealed an image of the suspect accused of stealing just over $1,500 worth of baby monitors.

He is described as:

  • male
  • white
  • approximately 55-65-years-old
  • clean shaven
  • wearing a grey baseball cap, grey button down shirt, black jacket, black dress pants and black dress shoes.
