This Barrie 360 feature has been brought to you by Pet Valu – Yonge St, Wellington, Innisfil.
Thank you to everyone who sent in photos of your adorable furry friends! Here is this month’s winner, as well as the runners-up:
February 2021 Pet of the Month:
We love a good “blep”! Kahlua is an 8-week-old mix between a Bernese Mountain Dog and a Russian Shepherd, and boy is she cute! She loves the snow so much, the only way to get her out is to pick her up (which might prove a little more difficult when she starts to grow).
February 2021 Pet of the Month Runners-up:
This is Wendel. Wendel is a dog with a job and loves spending his days outside herding his goat friends. He has also perfected the “why did you stop petting me?” face. Seriously though, why did you stop petting him?
Junior and Puddles
When Puddles (left) was rescued from a feral litter, it became Junior’s mission to welcome and comfort his adopted sibling. Ever since, even when they’re sleeping, the two have become inseparable!
A small dog with a big personality, Sonny loves spending his time outdoors, going on hikes, and meeting other dogs. Maybe one day he’ll meet his very own Cher.
A Poodle/Alaskan Malamute mix, George is a gentle giant with a goofball personality. While he’s only 4-years-old, he looks absolutely stoic and wise in this picture.
Louis and Wissler
Being an unlikely couple hasn’t stopped Louis and Wissler from spending every spare moment together. They even drink from the same bowl, eat from the same dish, and sleep in the same bed!
Huey is a 34-year-old Macaw Parrot who loves to play peek-a-boo, snuggle, and chase people around the house (all in good fun, of course). If you play some music, he even starts dancing!
Along with being an expert at destroying toys and eating treats, Apollo the 2-year-old German Shorthaired Pointer is also a master model who loves nothing more than putting on his best outfit and striking a pose.
Bentley just celebrated his first birthday and loves spending his days playing with his brothers and sisters (both human and cat). If you stop petting him while you’re cuddling on the couch, you’ll quickly see this face poking out above the pillow.
Monkey is a failure. After spending some time with his foster parents trying to get adopted, they just couldn’t let him leave and he became a foster fail! One look at her and it’s easy to understand why.
