Pet of the Month: June Edition

so many cute pets (and a special guest!)

This Barrie 360 feature has been brought to you by Pet Value – Yonge StWellingtonInnisfil.

Thank you to everyone who sent in photos of your adorable furry friends! Here is this month’s winner, as well as the runner-ups:

June 2020 Pet of the Month:

Pearl is an insanely cute chihuahua who is only 2-months old! She likes to run around the house, chase the cat, and has already claimed the bed as her own.

June 2020 Pet of the Month Runner-Ups

If you want to find Ginger the 5-month-old cocker spaniel poodle, you might have to look pretty hard because she is quite the adventurer! You can even follow her adventures on Instagram: @cockapoo.ginger.

King Boo

Affectionate and always ready to greet his owners at the door, King Boo loves to cuddle and play fetch. She also answers to BooBoo, Boo Bear, Boogers, and Mr. Boo.

Harvey has perfected the art of the “puppy dog eyes”. While he enjoys chewing on his toys, he occasionally chews things he’s not supposed to and has to use them to get out of trouble.

Buddha is a 3-year-old lilac point siamese cat who loves to fall asleep next to his best friend (who happens to be a dog). Besides sleeping, she also likes to jump up to where he isn’t supposed to!

Finding her new home all the way from Mexico, Goma the 6-year-old yellow lab mix is now one happy pooch with her new owners and is delighted to be in her forever home.

Georgie is a mini potbelly pig who enjoys belly rubs and eating! He is full of love and energy (maybe even enough to build a house out of bricks).

When she isn’t going for walks or relaxing, Leanne is head of the customer service department at her house. Her workers love her because if you just give her a treat, she’s a real pushover.

One of the happiest boys around, Louie is a 7-year-old rescue who absolutely loves to show off his collection of tennis balls!

Besides having all the best songs named after her, Baby loves playing in her cat tree, eating catnip, and bugging her owners for breakfast every morning.

Honorable Mention:

In the early morning hours of May 29, Barrie got a furry visitor from the forest. A black bear found its way into some Barrie neighbourhoods where police tracked it for over four hours where they finally tranquillized it so it could be peacefully transported to a safe place. While he isn’t a pet, we thought he was cute enough to be worth an honourable mention!
