Barrie Police are investigating an assault involving a 16-year-old girl.
The incident happened around 10 p.m. Friday near Lakeshore Drive and Victoria Street. The victim suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
Police are looking to identify two suspects. Both are female and believed to be around 16 years of age.

Police are aware of a video of the attack that has been circulating on social media.
Investigators are advising the public not to repost or share the video due to the presence of youths who could be easily identified, which would be a contravention of the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
