Snowboarders! How would you like to do what you love this weekend and get paid for it?
On Saturday, January 12th, Horseshoe Resort will be hosting the first stop of the Vans Hi-Standard Series Tour. This contest will take place across the US, Canada, China, Korea and Russia and it all kicks off here in Ontario.

The event is open for snowboarders to show off their moves in an exciting jam format. Riders will be judged on nothing but individual style. The only limitation is that no rotations over 720 will be permitted.
Registration is absolutely FREE and will include lunch and a lift ticket.
The event will be divided up into 4 different time slots for "paid sessions" and capped off with the "Van Doren Best Trick Contest". During paid sessions contestants will earn $5 for every trick the MC/judge considers successful.

The following 4 riders will earn a special prize among all categories:
1- MVP (Male/Female)
2- Most Improved
3- Worst Bail
Vans will also be on-site with the Vans Custom Culture design workshop, featuring a local artist and inviting spectators to design their own pair of Vans. Participate in the workshop for your chance to win your own pair of Vans Customs.
