It's finally here, the first long weekend of the summer! Victoria Day always falls on the second last Monday in May and is a distinctly Canadian holiday celebrating the birthday of Queen Victoria. In 2024, the Victoria Day long weekend is May 18 to 20.

Horseshoe Resort
Horseshoe Resort is hosting their Bikes & Brews event over Victoria Day weekend (May 17th-20th). This four-day extravaganza promises to be a blast for mountain bike enthusiasts of all levels.
The highlight is undoubtedly getting back on the trails at the resort's Downhill Mountain Bike Park. But that's not all! Bikes & Brews is also serving up a refreshing combination of frosty beers from local breweries and Molson's, alongside delicious coffee concoctions from Mark IV Brothers Roasters and Horseshoe Resort's very own Shoe Brew.
To keep your energy levels up in between rides, there will be mouthwatering food specials throughout the weekend, along with a daily appy hour featuring half-priced appetizers and discounted pints.
In additional to all of this, there will also be live music on Saturday night at Crazy Horse adds to the festive atmosphere, a mountain bike challenge with great prizes and a sale on past-season rental bikes and select gear at the HV Sports retail shop.
Blue Mountain Resort
Blue Mountain Village is transforming into a street festival over May Long Weekend (May 18-20). Enjoy live music headliners Ridin' The Pine and The Greg Wyard Band, as well as family fun, delicious eats, and outdoor adventures.

Friday Harbour Resort
Escape to a lakeside paradise this Victoria Day long weekend at Friday Harbour! Live music, DJs, and a beer garden create a festive atmosphere at the CIBC Pier.
