Three Brampton residents face a list of charges after Barrie police responded to a break-in at a business around 4 a.m. Sunday in the area of Ardagh Road and Mapleton Avenue.

Police say officers responded within minutes and saw three people leaving the business and getting into a car. The vehicle then fled, striking a police cruiser, and nearly colliding with two other police cars.

"The vehicle then made its way towards Highway 400, where it began to drive the wrong way on a highway service road, before losing control and crashing into the ditch on the southbound off-ramp," police said in a news release.
